[WEB] First Time Logging In/Resetting Your Password Print

If you are logging into Outreach Grid for the first time, you will first need to set your password. New Users should have received a Welcome email. If you have not, this guide will walk you through the process of changing your password for the first time. Should you forget your password, these instructions will also help you reset your password to regain access to your account.


Logging In

Begin by navigating to the homepage of your region’s Outreach Grid platform.


In the search bar of your web browser, type “[environment].outreachgrid.com.” Please note that [environment] is the city/region that you are in (e.g., riverside.outreachgrid.com, noc.outreachgrid.com, etc.).


Note: If you are unsure of what environment you’re in, contact us by clicking on the green support button on the bottom right corner of your browser and we will get back to you as soon as we can.


You will be taken to your region’s Outreach Grid login page. The Users login portal will automatically be loaded:


This page features four login portals; one for each user type: Users (purple), Contributors (orange), Applicants (blue), and Property Managers (red).


The Users section is for individuals who are outreach workers, police officers, health providers, shelter operators, etc. who help individuals experiencing homelessness.


The Contributors section is for private citizens, such as volunteers or someone who is not a professional in the homelessness sector, but would contribute information about encampment sightings or refer someone to the Users that can do something.


The Applicants section is for individuals experiencing homelessness. Here, they can create an account on Outreach Grid and self-report their status and chat with service providers and upload their documents.


The Property Managers section is for landlords and property managers who manage their housing listings. Property managers and landlords can communicate with case managers and housing navigators, review client household applications, and choose whether to accept or decline applications.


As Users, please log in using the Users section. Type in your email address and password to log into your account.


Resetting Your Password

If you ever forget your password, click on the “Forgot your password?” link above the Log In button.

For our Users, the highlighted section is the most relevant section to us. Please login with your e-mail address and password.


You will be redirected to a page to request a password reset. In the form, enter the email address associated to your account. 


Note: If you are unsure of what email address your account is under, contact us by clicking on the green support button on the bottom right corner of your browser and we will get back to you as soon as we can.


After entering in your email address and clicking the green reset button, you should receive an email with a link to reset your password. Upon clicking the link, you will be redirected to a webpage where you will set your new password.
